Raising attendance is a priority here at Ripley St. John's CE Primary School. Good attendance helps good progress. The children are reminded of this on their journey with us through Worship messages and correspondence from teachers on Class Dojo.
We are using a 'Traffic Light' system in school to track pupils' attendance. If your child's attendance falls below the national expectation, you should except to receive information about your child's attendance.
Although there are many genuine and necessary reasons for children to miss school occasionally, we encourage all families to work with us in ensuring that children attend school regularly. Please do not hesitate to contact school if you need any help in improving your child's attendance in school.
Below is an attendance poster outlining the 'Traffic Light' system in school.
Overall attendance for 2024-2025 was 95%.
This year, we are aiming for 97% and we are very hopeful that, with your support, we will achieve this.
Thank you for your continued support.
