Head's Welcome

WELCOME

If you are looking for a school that will provide a caring and nurturing environment; where your child can grow and flourish, a place where their happiness and safety is our prime concern and where they will have every opportunity to grow socially, emotionally and academically, then St John’s is just the place you are looking for. We root everything in our golden rule "Treat everyone as you want to be treated" Matthew 7v12.

We were judged to be a good school in our most recent inspection. We have very high expectations of our children and aim to work closely with parents, carers and the wider community to ensure their success.

We are a larger than average school with a wide range of expertise.

Children are encouraged to take pride in their learning, earning Dojo points throughout their journey. Children are encouraged to take on a wide range of additional responsibilities as they pass through the school. We organise events and special occasions to foster a real sense of belonging, promoting teamwork and supporting children’s social and emotional development. We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities and enrich our curriculum through a wide variety of spiritual, cultural and social experiences.  We are highly inclusive, valuing every child as an important individual – we gained the Inclusion Quality Mark for the second time.

We strive to develop passionate learners who will confidently and skilfully move to the next stage of their ongoing learning journey.

Visits to school are warmly welcomed and recommended.

St John’s CE Primary School is committed to creating and maintaining a happy and safe environment for our children to live, laugh and learn. Please use the links below to find out more about the steps we take to safeguard children and how you can help us to ensure that all of our children thrive.

Kind regards
