The children have had a lovely time learning all about what is happening outside and what is out there and who helps us!

  • Exploring snow and ice outside
  • Learning about different cultures during Multicultural Week
  • History Day- learning all about sport in the past and jobs involving sport
  • Celebrating Lunar New Year with crafts, dancing and food tasting
  • Drawing Club- using imagination in mark making and sharing our love of stories, tales and animations
  • More Talk Through Stories with a focus on some amazing Tier 2 vocabulary
  • Being Gladiators in PE sessions using the apparatus- lots of risks, challenges and courage and even having a real Gladiator visit us in school!
  • Learning about Easter and watching the Year 3 and 4 share the Easter Story!
  • We had a visit from a Nurse and a paramedic
  • We had fun activities from Valley CIDs all about Easter
  • World Book Day had a hair theme and we learnt a poem about different types of hair and all came to school with different hairstyles for the day
  • We raised lots of money for Comic Relief and got to pie some of the teachers!
  • We made butterflies out of newspaper and sold them at the school Eco Fayre to help our understanding of paper and recycling
